God has called me to use my experiences and relationship with Him to influence and inspire others. No matter the topic, you can expect me to be real about my life and its imperfections and about what role Jesus plays in it all.

My main passion is to share with others how it is possible to live a life of joy despite whatever adversities we may face in life. I have struggled with body image and self-worth, infertility, and miscarriage, the mundane and challenging role of motherhood, both regular and postpartum depression, the death of a loved one, and the physical and emotional difficulty that has accompanied being diagnosed with a disabling auto-immune disease. I am transparent about life as it really is so that others realize they are not alone, while also sharing the hope and joy that can be found in Jesus.

While the principles of my messages can apply to almost any audience, I most enjoy and desire to encourage women ages 18 and above. Most of my speaking and sharing experience has been geared towards this demographic, and I have a passion for connecting with adult women in all life stages.

Savor the Savior

Savoring brings satisfaction. We see evidence of this in relationships, experiences, and triple-layer chocolate fudge cake. And it's no different for our souls. To experience true fulfillment, we must savor its source because savoring Jesus satisfies the soul.

It’s hard to stand out in a world where we want to fit in. Shining our light is counter-cultural, challenging - and essential to experiencing a fulfilled life. Don’t miss the purpose and meaning found in living your life the way God designed it!

So many of us settle for a life of fleeting happiness and meaning. We ride the waves of emotions - happy when life is going our way, falling into a pit of despair when it’s not, and living in perpetual survival mode in the mundane in-between spaces. It’s time to break this draining cycle and learn how to tether your joy to something much more stable and fulfilling.

Fear keeps us up at night, causes all sorts of stress and destruction, and robs us of the beauty of the moment. It can be crippling if we allow it. Or it can lead us on a beautiful journey of trust and dependence on the only One who has the ability to control our future and our deepest fears.

At the age of 32 years old, Julie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis; an incurable and often debilitating disease that would rock her world. In an instant, it seemed like her shot at a joy-filled, abundant life was over. In reality, it was only just beginning. Discover how to claim joy each day of your life, despite and even right in the midst of, painful life circumstances.

Women often find themselves running 100 mph in every direction, trying to do all the things, satisfy all the people, and juggle the endless list of demands and expectations. We deem it selfless and even holy to run ourselves ragged, but in the pursuit of a full plate, we are left with an empty soul. Ironically, that’s the exact opposite of the kind of life Jesus came to give us!

Being fully known - mistakes, failures, and stretch marks included - is scary and risky, But it can also be incredibly freeing and fulfilling. In a world where being known is a challenging endeavor, understanding God knows us completely can be a source of profound security and love.
